An e-learning tool for the country affiliates

The GHEOR department has just finished developing a population model that assessed the economic impact of a new treatment. They wanted to help country affiliates get acquainted with the model, assist them in making adaptations and encourage them to use the model outcomes in payer conversations.

Due to privacy reasons, we have anonymised all the labels and graphics in this application. Some medication names are pure fiction and may not make any sense to you.

An e-learning tool for the country affiliates
Full scale yet engaging
We used a full scale Excel model as basis and develop an easy-to-use HTML 5 web interface on the top to engage users and facilitate the process of understanding the model.

Comprehensive results
We visualised original model outputs in a structured and appealing way, so that country-affiliates could get acquainted with the full outcomes of the model. For those who wanted to see only key values we have created a shortened “summary” section.

Tutorials mode
To facilitate the onboarding process for country users, we have created a “tutorials mode”. In this mode the application leads the user through places where country adaptations are needed.

The tool is actively used by country affiliates and they find it “very cool to play with”. They never said this about Excel models before.
